Can a Song Save Your Life? OV

Greta (Keira Knightley), a young English musician accompanies her boyfriend to New York, to live the American Dream. But while he gets a record deal quite soon, she comes away empty-handed. Her world finally collapses when her darling breaks up their relationship. On an open-mike-night, she engages the attention of Dan (Mark Ruffalo) with one of her songs. The over-the-hill music producer recognizes her talent straightaway and so Greta becomes his light at the end of the tunnel. Together they start afresh.
